Then, at 11:30 AM, we will gather behind the school and in the gym for an informal lunch, outdoor games and maybe even a soccer match.

WHCA Marketplace

FAQ's

What is it?
WHCA Marketplace is a place where students can buy and sell goods that they have personally made or services they can personally do. It is a one-day sale extravaganza!

Who can participate?
All students (and staff) are invited to open a booth in the market. The cost to rent a booth (1/2 a table) is $3.00. Proceeds of booth rental go to the Student Council, the event sponsor.

What can I sell?
Students are very creative with what they can make and sell. Hand-crafted goods of every sort are sold at the Marketplace. Foods of a huge variety are also sold there. You can also sell services (car wash & vacuum, etc.) Be creative and imaginative, and bring your very best items to sell.

Why are we having the WHCA Marketplace?
Students learn solid business skills at the WHCA Marketplace. Buying, selling, marketing, negotiating for a better price, and so much more are on display at the Marketplace. In addition to all of this, students learn that buying and selling goods and services pays off—but there is a price to it all. It takes time, energy, and effort to make goods that will sell. These principles, and so much more, are freely on display at the Marketplace.

Robotics Team News

7225 MECHATRONIC MUSTANGS CAPTURE 2ND PLACE!

At the FIM Milford Event this past weekend, the Mechatronic Mustangs found themselves in a less than desirable position after the qualification matches, but two other teams took note of their robot in spite of their ranking. They were picked to join the 4th place alliance alongside 1025 Impi Robotics of Ferndale and 308 Monsters from Walled Lake. The robots battled through the next set of matches and made it to the finals! The robots challenged the 1st place alliance but ended the event in 2nd place. It was their best showing yet!

Congratulations Team 7225! We can’t wait for your next competition in Week 5 at the FIM Saline Event, March 30-April 1.
