Students at West Highland Christian Academy receive a Christ-centered education in a nurturing environment and using a variety of teaching styles. Our goal is to teach young children to love learning and to love the Lord.
The focus of our K4 program is to establish an academic foundation that will prepare children for Kindergarten and to nurture a relationship with Jesus. Students will be introduced to math concepts using a variety of written and hands-on materials. Language arts instruction includes reading readiness, phonics, and handwriting.
The focus of our Kindergarten program is to expand the academic foundation that is needed for elementary success and encourage a deeper relationship with Jesus.
Daily prayer and Bible stories are used to teach spiritual concepts. Art, music, physical education and Spanish are included throughout the week and students enjoy weekly chapels that include worship and engaging messages.
Children who are 4 years old on or before January 1st may choose to attend all day or half day.
All K4 and Kindergarten children must be fully toilet trained and will be evaluated for readiness for school before admission.
