MISSIONS
WHCA has partnered with Niños de Baja, a Christ-centered orphanage located in Ejido El Porvenir, Baja California, Mexico.
During the day, our students and chaperons contribute their time, resources, and skills to fund, build, and repair facilities, as well as providing assistance to other needy programs and families in the community. In the afternoon, they spend time playing with the children, helping them heal and have fun. In the evening, the team regroups for dinner and devotions.
It's truly a rewarding experience where you get more than you give. The hard work and play creates lasting memories and develops friendships that last a lifetime. It is a blessing to everyone involved!
Mission trips require a significant financial investment. Many of our students are currently fundraising for the 2025 trip. You can help!
ABOUT NIÑOS DE BAJA
Niños de Baja is a Christian-outreach ministry in El Porvenir, Mexico, a tiny farm town 50 miles south of the California/U.S. border. Here, people from Mexico and the U.S. work together to help change children's lives. Niños de Baja provides a loving home for children who have been orphaned, abused or abandoned. The ministry is also involved in community outreach to El Porvenir and beyond. Teams from all over the U.S. arrive throughout the year to show the love of Jesus to the children and work on projects around the facilities.
